Increase in Integrated Allowance: Salary Increase for Qasids, Naib Qasids and Daftaries

The Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan has issued an important office memorandum on July 8, 2021, under which the rate of Integrated Allowance for Qasids, Naib Qasids and Daftaries of the Federal Government has been significantly increased.

Important Update:

Old Rate: Rs. 450 per month
New Rate: Rs. 900 per month
Effective Date: From July 1, 2021

Who will get this allowance?

This increased allowance will be available to all Qasids, Naib Qasids and Daftaries who:

Are working under the Federal Government.

Their salary is paid from Civil Estimates or Defence Estimates.

Important Note:

This increase has been implemented with the direct approval of the President of Pakistan. The allowance was last revised in 2016. The move is aimed at improving the financial condition of key staff who play a vital role in running the day-to-day operations of government offices in the current inflationary era.

Notification Details:

This office memorandum has been issued by the Finance Division, Regulation Wing, Islamabad. A copy of it has been sent to all concerned ministries, divisions and other important institutions like President and Prime Minister Secretariat, Judiciary, EGPR, Auditor General etc. to ensure implementation of this decision.

Repealed Orders:

This notification will replace the previous Finance Division Office Memorandum No. 6(1)R-5/2005 dated July 1, 2016.
