1. Academic Coordinator for English: RSU D Gupis-Yasin
The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for developing assessment items for students, maintaining high academic standards, and ensuring a congenial learning environment in schools. S/he will be expected to provide support and guidance for classroom instruction, as well as introduce improvements in the teaching and learning process. S/he will also be responsible for facilitating teachers in their professional development.
Requirements:
- 16 years of education, specialising in English
- Preferably holds a professional degree such as M.Ed or B.Ed
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience at a reputable institution
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ICT integration in teaching and learning is desirable
2. Lecturer Computer Sciences - Aga Khan Higher Secondary School GB
The Lecturer – Computer Science will be responsible for teaching the computer literacy curriculum at secondary and higher secondary levels; developing and implementing monthly and yearly plans to enhance ICT usage, with continuous reflection throughout the year; and supporting students in developing their ICT-related projects.
Requirements:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Effective communication, classroom management, and strong interpersonal skills
3. English Language Coordinator AKES, PECOB
The English Language Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating programs to improve the English language proficiency of staff and students across the region. S/he will work closely with other sections to support language improvement across the faculties and students, and other staff members, while also producing high-quality materials. A key part of the role involves mentoring and tracking the progress of those engaged in the English Language Program (ELP) and assessing the impact of all associated professional development efforts.
The position requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and train teachers to become effective English language instructors. The incumbent will lead the regional curriculum team for regional curriculum review/development and will ensure coherence and progression in learning based on global trends. S/he will also provide strategic advice for initiatives that aim to improve the regional English language curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments.
Requirements:
- Master's degree (16 years of education) in a relevant subject
- 3–5 years of experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, management, leadership, and mentoring skills
4. Secondary/K-12 Schools English Teacher for Gilgit, Hunza, and Ghizer
