The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is seeking a highly qualified Director of Medical & Sports Sciences to lead our medical and sports science initiatives. This critical role involves managing player health, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for Pakistan's national cricket teams.

About Pakistan Cricket Board

PCB is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan, responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels while maintaining control over international and domestic cricket activities.

Position Requirements

Education & Certification

• Medical or Physiotherapy Degree
• MSc/Diploma in Sports Sciences
• Foreign certifications in Doping, Age Verification preferred
• Certifications in Physical Training and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Experience

• Minimum 10 years with elite athletes/teams
• Experience with National/International athletes
• Proven leadership in medical/sport science
• Experience in elite sport settings

Key Responsibilities

• Manage medical & research services for PCB
• Diagnose, evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate players
• Ensure physical and medical fitness of players
• Stay updated on sports medicine developments
• Develop and implement health/fitness action plans
• Educate players on nutrition and diet control
• Guide medical staff at regional and national levels
• Manage relationships with medical facilities
• Develop proposals for medical center services
• Supervise development programs for physiotherapists
• Maintain comprehensive player medical records
• Oversee player rehabilitation programs
• Manage injury prevention and performance enhancement
